Job summary

Sub-Zero, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ, seeks an Operations/Manufacturing Supervisor for fabrication/sheet metal on 2nd shift. The role leads a team to meet production goals with safety, quality, and efficiency at the forefront.

Responsibilities include planning workflow, training, and coordinating with internal groups to improve processes. Requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, knowledge of heavy presses, welding, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in shipping/receiving and warehouse management.
• Experience with high tonnage hydraulic presses, CNC punch presses, press brakes, and thermoforming machines.
• Lean manufacturing concepts, quality measurements and OSHA requirements are desirable.
• Experience welding and finishing various materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise fabrication activities to meet production goals, quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Plan operations, manpower, materials, and workflow to ensure timely production.
• Organize and assign work; cross-train and support employees as needed.
• Enforce safety devices and PPE; monitor housekeeping and hazardous conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement, monitor quality metrics, and coordinate cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams on scheduling, training, and employee development.
• Maintain positive employee relations through open communication.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and attendance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
