Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking an Equipment Operator for the 2nd shift in Taftville, CT to unload products and place them securely on shelving, floors, or racks. You will scan items with an RF gun and maintain a safe, clean workspace in compliance with safety programs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, weekend availability, and the ability to pass a 250 lb push/pull lift assessment with operating electric lift, forklift, and tugger.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work weekends as needed.
• Must pass lift assessment with push/pull requirement of 250 lbs.
• Experience operating electric lift, forklift, tugger, and RF gun.

Responsibilities

• Pick up product from staging area and off-load onto shelving units, floor locations, or stack racks.
• When placing product, accurately scan all merchandise using RF gun.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ensure full compliance with safety programs while operating and not operating material handling equipment.
