Job summary

A veterinary referral hospital located in Holly Springs, NC is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant for the 2nd shift. This full-time role requires a minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience, including emergency care. The responsibilities include providing nursing care to critically ill patients, triaging emergencies, and monitoring patients under anesthesia. Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• Current RVT in NC or eligible for NC registration is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience, with emergency experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill hospitalized patients.
• Triage incoming patients presenting on emergency.
• Assess patient stability and obtain patient vital signs.
• Perform diagnostics and treatments of emergency and hospitalized patients.
• Monitor patients while under anesthesia.
• Obtain samples for and perform in-house laboratory testing.
