Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a detail-oriented Embroiderer to operate commercial embroidery equipment and tailor apparel and promotional items to customer specifications. Strong hand-eye coordination and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced manufacturing setting are essential.

This 2nd shift position runs 3:30pm–2:00am (Mon-Thu, 3-day weekend). Pay is $19–$20 per hour depending on experience, with opportunities for growth based on skill and tenure.

Qualifications

• Previous embroidery, textile production, screen printing, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow detailed production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn embroidery equipment operation.
• Basic computer skills for production tracking and machine interface operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate single-head and multi-head commercial embroidery machines.
• Load garments and materials into embroidery equipment and ensure proper alignment.
• Read and interpret work orders, embroidery layouts, and production schedules.
• Select appropriate thread colors and materials based on customer specifications.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and identify stitching issues.
• Perform thread changes, tension adjustments, and basic machine troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Trim excess threads and prepare completed products for packaging and shipment.
• Maintain production records and accurately track completed orders.
• Follow quality standards and production deadlines to meet customer expectations.
• Assist with sorting, organizing, and staging materials for upcoming jobs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
