Schneider is hiring a Diesel Service Advisor in Indianapolis, IN for the second shift (2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.). You will serve as the primary liaison between company drivers and diesel technicians, writing service requests and tracking repair progress.

The role emphasizes clear communication and efficient coordination of parts and labor. Responsibilities include estimating repair times, keeping drivers informed, and supporting shop operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer/data entry skills required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between drivers and diesel technicians in Indianapolis, IN.
• Write up service requests and estimate repair times.
• Maintain open communication with drivers and provide status updates on decisions and wait times.
• Assist with inventory by ensuring parts are in stock and submitting requests when needed.
