WM (Waste Management) is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Irvine, CA to service our extensive fleet. The role includes diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on diesel trucks and, at some locations, our growing CNG fleet.

Expect 6:00pm-4:30am shifts Monday-Thursday, with Friday 5:00pm-1:30am and occasional Saturdays. You'll train with a 2-week trip to Arizona and receive a $33.25/hour base pay plus a $2.00 shift differential, plus tool and boot allowances.

• Two years of relevant work experience.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

• Assisting senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
• Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
