Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You will engage customers, share product knowledge, and help locate items while maintaining fresh, well-displayed displays and accurate stock.

You’ll work across departments and use store technology to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow within a family-owned, community-focused retailer that offers

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
