Job summary

Grand Rapids Building Services Inc. is seeking a Custodian for Byron Center Public Schools on the 2nd shift, 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

You must be 18+ with a valid ID and demonstrate traits such as being a team player, dependable, self-motivated, and having reliable transportation. Responsibilities include cleaning, mopping, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and following GRBS processes.

Qualifications

• 18+ with valid ID.
• Michigan public schools restrictions apply: individuals with theft, violence or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS Process.
• Have mindful communication with respect to all.
• Finish the job to the building map and shift.
• Mop, dust, clean restrooms, remove trash, and other cleaning tasks as assigned.
