Job summary

tmmclean is seeking a dedicated cleaner for the 2nd Shift to maintain the cleanliness of various facilities including commercial, retail, and healthcare environments. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, dusting, floor care, and waste disposal to ensure sanitary, safe spaces for occupants and visitors.

No prior experience or training is required. The role demands physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and practical knowledge of basic cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: No prior experience or training.
• Language Ability: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• English presentation: Ability to present information in English to customers, clients and employees.
• Math Ability: Add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10s and 100s.
• Reasoning Ability: Follow simple one- or two-step instructions with little variation.
• Certificates: No certifications needed.

Responsibilities

• Keeps premises of commercial, retail, airport, hospitality, healthcare, convention centers/arenas or other institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition.
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim; cleans rooms, lobbies, rest rooms, hallways, and other areas.
• Squeeges, sweeps, scrubs, finishes and polishes floors; cleans rugs, carpets and upholstery.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows and sills.
• Empties trash, transports waste to disposal area; performs related duties as assigned.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in potentially loud environments.
