Job summary

Cook Inc - Spencer is seeking a Custodian for the 2nd shift to keep the Spencer facility clean and safe. This full-time role requires attentiveness to instructions, ability to work with cleaning chemicals, and teamwork with coworkers.

Key duties include trash removal, sweeping and mopping floors, wall cleaning, dusting, deep cleaning workstations, and maintaining clear documentation. The position requires a minimum 40-hour week and availability Monday–Friday, 5:30pm–2:00am.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 5:30pm - 2am, Monday-Friday.
• Able to lift up to 10 pounds continuously and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent repetitive motion and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and carry out written and oral instructions
• Trash removal
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean walls
• Dust various surfaces
• Deep clean work stations
• Provide legible and accurate documentation
• Complete quality work at department rates
• Commit to a minimum 40 hour work week
• Work effectively with limited supervision
• Work closely with co-workers
• Work with chemicals such as cleaners and isopropyl alcohol
