Job summary

HES is seeking General Cleaners to maintain cleanliness and daily upkeep in Wetumpka, AL, supporting educational facilities. You will perform a broad range of cleaning tasks to uphold a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have a reliable work history and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced setting. High school degree preferred but not required; a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Excellent work history and ability to work with others.
• Physically demanding environment requiring efficiency and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors.
• Removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms.
• Polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, cleaning desks/walls/furniture/doors/entry glass/interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures.
• Other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.
