Job summary

Behavioral Healthcare Partners is seeking a 2nd Shift Crisis Intervention Specialist to provide mobile crisis services in Knox County, OH. The role operates 4PM–12AM, with a focus on safety planning, pre-screens, and potential involuntary admissions in collaboration with a fast-paced, supportive team.

You will work with children and adults, hold Ohio licensure, and coordinate with a supervisor for on-call support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ohio licensure required: LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC.
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license.
  • BLS/CPR certification.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

2nd Shift Crisis Intervention Specialist (4PM–12AM)

Knox County, OH

Position Summary

Provide mobile crisis intervention services to children and adults in community settings. Responsibilities include completing psychiatric hospital pre-screens, developing safety plans, and serving as a Public Health Officer with authority to initiate involuntary admissions. This is a fast-paced, team-supported role with no ongoing caseload or productivity requirements.

Schedule
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week (assigned shift/location)
  • One 12-hour on-call shift per month (paid + overtime for hours worked)
  • Holiday coverage rotation (1–2 times/year)
  • 24/7 supervisor support available
