Job summary

The role covers running the single-facer and supporting wet-end and dry-end operations, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to efficiency. Key duties include verifying roll stock, performing splices, monitoring board quality, and assisting in cross-training of wet-end and dry-end staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry.
• At least 6 months of experience on the dry end of the corrugator.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Doublebacker Operator.

Responsibilities

• Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock is received and used.
• Set up and operate the single-facer, assist wet-end and dry-end operations.
• Perform roll changes, splices, and ensure proper size and grade of paper.
• Monitor board quality during runs and adjust as needed.
• Prepare rolls for splices and mark size, grade, diameter and footage.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
• Assist in training wet-end and dry-end personnel.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping; comply with policies.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
