Job summary

Durex Industries is seeking a skilled CNC Okuma Specialist for the 2nd shift to program, set up, operate, and optimize Okuma CNC tools with OSP controls. The role emphasizes multi-axis milling, turning, and mill-turn processes to improve efficiency and product quality.

You will develop and maintain setup sheets, tooling lists, and machining standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and mentoring production staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Okuma CNC machine tools.
• Extensive experience using Okuma OSP Controls.
• Experience with Okuma MULTUS and MU Series 5-axis machining centers.
• Experience with Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs).
• Ability to create setup sheets, tooling documentation, work instructions, and machining standards.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement equipment.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.

The Role

As the 2nd Shift CNC Specialist, you will join our Durex Industries and support…We are seeking an experienced CNC Okuma Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience programming, setting up, operating, and supporting Okuma CNC machine tools and OSP Controls. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge of multi‑axis machining, including milling, turning, and mill‑turn processes, and will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing operations, improving process efficiency, and supporting production teams.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong problem‑solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to develop standardized machining documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Program, set up, troubleshoot, and optimize Okuma CNC machine tools using OSP Controls.
