Job summary

Aggressive Hydraulics, Inc. in Oak Grove, KY is hiring for a 2nd shift general machinist. You will manufacture parts to print using manual and CNC tools, with four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday and overtime potential on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Machining experience in a related industry preferred.
• Machine tool technology degree (2-year) preferred.
• Ability to setup and run various programs on machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture parts per print using manual and CNC tools.
• Inspect parts for quality and conformance.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain documentation.
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping as required.

Job description

This position is 2nd shift working four 10 hour shifts - Monday through Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am.

There may be an additional mid-shift option available. Employees typically have overtime available on Fridays for partial shift.

This position is eligible for $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Position Description:

• Manufacturing products to print using various manual and CNC machine tools

Primary Objectives:

• Responsible for Quality of parts manufactured in a timely manner
• Responsible for daily manufacturing of work in adherence to the quality management system

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for manufacturing of parts
• Inspection of parts
• Following safety procedures
• Correct documentation (timekeeping, BOM’s, prints, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc.

Qualifications:

• Machining experience in a related industry preferred
• Machine tool technology degree (2‐yr) preferred
• Ability to setup and run various programs on machine tools
• Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred
• Comfortable using various computer software
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
• Good verbal and written communication skills
