Job summary

ContiTech USA, LLC in Valparaiso, IN is hiring CNC machine operators for 2nd shift. You will operate CNC equipment to a production schedule, label and stamp parts, move finished items, and maintain coolant levels in a climate-controlled environment.

The role requires varying levels of CNC experience, ability to read blueprints, machine programming, and safety procedures. Training is provided for new employees and a robust benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor visas.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant CNC machining experience for Operator 1; 3 years for Operator 2; 5+ years for Machinist 1; 10+ years for Machinist 2.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining equipment according to a production schedule.
• Accurately labeling parts and stamping parts as needed.
• Move finished parts to the proper areas and maintain coolant levels.
• Maintain a clean 5S-compliant workstation.
• Program and machine prototype parts and new jobs.
• Train new employees.
