Job summary

Mycustomstaffing is seeking a skilled CNC Burn Operator in the Springfield, Ohio area to set up and operate the CNC burn table, producing high-quality metal parts safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate applies strong spatial math, basic computer literacy, and precise measurement tools to verify parts and optimize material usage.

2nd shift 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday–Friday, and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour are offered, with resume and interview required.

Qualifications

• Strong basic math knowledge including geometric layouts and measurements.
• Basic computer skills to run work orders and access databases.
• Reliable attendance and adherence to safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate the CNC burn table to cut parts per work orders.
• Measure parts with calipers and verify tolerance before production orders.
• Manually nest parts to maximize material usage and minimize burn times.
• Maintain machine and torches; adjust cutting parameters as needed.
• Verify plate thickness and material grades; track heat numbers for traceability.
• Log data into the tracking database after loading/unloading materials.
