Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a General Cleaner in San Antonio, TX for a full-time 2nd shift. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing restrooms, and supporting the custodial team to ensure a safe and spotless environment for educational facilities.

The role requires reliability, a team-focused approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Physical demands: ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand/walk for long shifts.
• Team-focused with ability to follow directions and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas to maintain daily upkeep and cleanliness.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize restrooms, and handle waste/recycling.
• Polish windows and maintain desks, walls, and fixtures as directed by supervisor.
• Support supervisor with additional custodial duties as needed.
