Job summary

Unitex is seeking a skilled 2nd shift Class A Manufacturing Mechanic/Technician in Hartford, CT. The role involves performing routine maintenance on industrial laundry equipment, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and collaborating on equipment upgrades.

Qualifications

• Must havy strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and diagrams for laundry equipment.
• Familiar with safety protocols in industrial settings.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial laundry equipment per schedule.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure performance.
• Collaborate on upgrades, installations and modifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts inventory.
