Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Asheboro, NC is seeking safety-minded individuals to join our team as clamp truck operators on the second shift at the Asheboro facility.

You will operate an sit-down clamp truck to load and unload trailers, maintain accurate records, and work collaboratively to keep the warehouse safe and efficient. The role includes overtime on weekends and a shift differential of $2 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience using a clamp truck to load and unload trailers.
• Experience in a manufacturing, military, landscaping, carpentry, construction, warehouse, production, or farming environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down clamp truck to load and unload trailers
• Ensure accurate record keeping for all inbound and outbound shipments
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Maintain a safe work environment by removing debris from warehouse areas
• Perform tasks such as lifting up to 35 lbs
• Promote safe work practices and adhere to safety rules
• Perform standing, walking, stooping, and lifting for up to 12 hours daily
• Maintain product quality in warehouse and inventory

Georgia-Pacific is looking for safety-oriented individuals to join our team as2 nd shiftClamp TruckOperator in ourAsheboro, NCFacility.

• $22.55 per hour
• 2 nd shift differential is $2.00per hour
• You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant.

Shift:

• Only candidates who are flexible to be assigned to work any shift will be considered
• Candidates must be flexible and available to work first, second, or third shift as needed. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends.
• Currently hiring for2ndshift.
• Orientation will be on1stshift (7am-3pm), and you will be assigned your permanent 3 rd shift after your orientation.
• Asheborooperateson a point-based attendance program.

Shift Hours:

• 1 st shift: Monday – Friday 7am-3pm; weekends and overtime as needed
• 2 nd shift: Monday – Friday 3pm-11pm; weekends and overtime as needed
• 3 rd shift: Monday – Friday 11pm-7am; weekends and overtime as needed

What You Will Do

• Safelyoperatea sit-down clamp truck to load and unload trailers
• Ensureaccuraterecord keeping for all inbound and outbound shipments
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Ensure a safe work environment throughout the facility by removing debris from areas within the warehouse
• Perform work that requireslifting upto 35 lbs.
• Promote safe work practices andmaintainstrict adherence to safety rules and regulations
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, stooping, standing, and sitting for 8, and occasionally up to 12hours per day
• Maintain quality of product in warehouse areas and warehouse inventory

• Experience in a manufacturing, military, landscaping, carpentry, construction, warehouse, production, or farming environment.

For this role, we anticipate paying $22.55 per hour. This role is eligible for anadditional$2.00 per hour while working on2ndshift.
