Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Cell Operator for the 2nd shift in Shelbyville, KY. You will operate, troubleshoot, and tune cell equipment to maintain product flow and quality, with emphasis on safety and 6S practices.

You will read blueprints, fill out documentation, and handle scrap and rework as needed. The role requires 6+ months of machine operation experience and basic math and English literacy.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6+ months’ experience with machine operator.
  • Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, & gauges.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
  • Basic math & computer skills.
  • Light physical effort required, 5 to 25 pounds lifting.
  • Ability to read and write English; follow safety/quality instructions.
  • Flexibility to work overtime.

Responsibilities

As a Cell Operator, you’ll be part of our team located in Shelbyville, KY. You’ll get to:
