Job summary

RRD Company is seeking a driver for the 2nd shift to transport materials between plants, depots, and warehouses. You will perform safety inspections and ensure loads are secured for highway travel.

The role requires operating large equipment with air brakes, following routes, and completing inspections. Weekend/overtime availability is needed; forklift or pallet jack may be used as needed.

Qualifications

• 2nd shift hours are 4pm to finish.
• Operate large/heavy vehicles with air brakes; secure and control loads.
• Drive on interstates, narrow country roads, and steep grades.
• Know routes and overpass clearances based on weight limits.
• Understand State and local safety rules for operating vehicles.
• Load cargo using chains, binders, or straps for transit at highway speeds.
• Review operator's manual and apply it to driving situations.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, work in process and finished goods between various establishments.
• Complete vehicle circle checks and pre/post inspections on every trip.
