Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Allentown, PA is seeking a Production Technician for the 2nd shift. You will maintain equipment and facilities per GMP standards and support shipping by moving materials as needed.

This is a bargaining union position (Local 773). Shift is Mon-Fri 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, General Education or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year light industrial experience.
• Prior production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
• Basic math skills and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks including equipment setup, filling, labeling, and recordkeeping to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain manufacturing equipment and work areas according to GMP policies.
• Move raw materials and finished goods using forklifts or warehouse equipment.
• Inspect production, warehouse, and service areas for safety and policy compliance.
• Calculate and record production yields, scrap, and material usage variances.
• Communicate with team members to address issues and support objectives.
