You will be responsible for proper unit banding, tagging, barcoding, and safe forklift operation, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and adherence to the production schedule. Overtime flexibility is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating bander equipment.
• Ability to follow production schedule.
• Overtime may be required with little notice.
• Maintain safety and good housekeeping practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate the bander and related equipment with correct setup techniques.
• Ensure proper placement of bands, tags, and wrap.
• Scan barcodes on units moving through the bander.
• Keep units neat with correct band counts and stacking patterns.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at available capacity and speed.
• Complete required production and safety reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain correct unit quantities and pull excess scrap when needed.
• Operate forklift safely when required.
• Submit maintenance orders and assist with proactive upkeep of equipment.
• Adhere to the production schedule and suggest improvements to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
• Report any scheduling issues to supervision.
• Follow all company policies including safety and housekeeping guidelines.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
