Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician (2nd Shift) to join Plant 3. You will support the Plant Engineering team with advanced troubleshooting, PLC/HMI systems, and equipment optimization to improve reliability and capital projects.

The role requires a degree or extensive experience with PLCs, AB controls, AutoCAD tools, and SCADA systems, with strong communication and collaboration across engineering and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or Mechatronics with 3+ years in maintenance or manufacturing, or 10+ years in equipment build/maintenance and PLC control.
US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in controls systems, troubleshooting, PLC/HMI support, and equipment optimization.
Collaborate with Plant Engineering, Skilled Trades, and external contractors across the facility.
