Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking an Auto Press Packer for the 2nd shift in Gettysburg, PA. The role involves inspecting and packing unfired tile into setters, with responsibilities that include quality checks and safe, organized work practices.

The position runs Monday to Thursday from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am. The base hourly rate is $23.18, with additional incentive potential of $1–$2 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of manufacturing/production experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping and listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tile for quality defects per control plans.
• Pack tile into setters and load setters onto pallets.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report problems.
• Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keep area safe, clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
