Job summary

Rittal LLC in Urbana, OH is seeking an Assembler for the 2nd shift to build components and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications. You will use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment, perform visual inspections, and prepare finished units for shipment.

The role requires reading and following English instructions, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborating with teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic mechanical skills.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assembly tasks.
• Perform visual checks to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment or further processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6-S and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
