Job summary

Rittal LLC in Urbana, OH is seeking an Assembler for the 2nd shift to build components per instructions and specifications. You will use hand and power tools, perform quality checks, and prepare products for shipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures, with potential growth opportunities within the plant. Prior assembly experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn software systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Prior manufacturing/assembly experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete assembly tasks.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment or further processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per 6-S and safety standards.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.
