Job summary

The Armor Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Mason, OH. You will help construct metal enclosures, assemblies, structures, and complex machinery used in a variety of industrial applications.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, performing final assembly tasks, and ensuring quality throughout the process. A HS diploma and safety-focused mindset are required; welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Previous assembly/manufacturing/construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and measuring devices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and metal construction skills.
• Welding experience or certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting production schedules.
• Dedication to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal enclosures, structures, and mechanical assemblies ranging from simple components to complex equipment.
• Fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, and other hardware.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Cut, align, fit, and rivet structural metal components.
• Perform caulking, paint preparation, and final assembly tasks.
• Install trim pieces, accessories, and enclosure components.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to complete assemblies.
• Inspect work for quality and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.
• Clean and prepare completed units for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support additional projects and duties as assigned.
