Job summary

Eurofins Food Chemistry Madison is seeking an Associate Analytical Chemist for 2nd shift on site in Madison, WI. The role focuses on routine analyses, GMP/GLP compliance, and documentation in a modern ISO 17025 lab testing infant formula, hemp and CBD products, vitamins, minerals, and contaminants.

You'll work with UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS instruments, participate in team meetings, and develop expertise across analytical methods while contributing to quality and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field; laboratory experience may substitute
• Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivation and adaptability; learn new techniques and maintain accurate records

Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/ GLP in all areas of responsibility as appropriate
• Learns to conduct routine analyses independently and in compliance with methods, SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Learns to document work and maintain laboratory records
• Learns to use laboratory equipment and software relevant to assigned tasks
• Attends and participates in project meetings
• Learns to perform peer review of data
• Learns to plan workload and schedule multiple assignments
