Paycom - ATS is seeking a Quality Inspector in Vandalia, OH to lead the initial quality checks on parts and ensure adherence to both internal and customer standards. You will record findings on a tablet and communicate deviations to the team.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and occasional use of measurement instruments; IQMS software familiarity is a plus.

Job Location: Falls Creek - Vandalia, OH, Salary Range: $17.25 - $18.50Hourly, Position Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • The quality inspector will be the initial person responsible for the quality of parts being inspected.
  • Communication of standards and deviations of those standards within the department as well as customer driven standards.
  • Make determination of parts deemed acceptable to ship.
  • Inspects, Records findings, using tablet to alert team of defects, rejecting unactable product.
  • May require using equipment for measuring.
  • The use of a pallet jack to move product.
  • Standing, Bending, and lifting.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications – education / experience
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

IQMS software.

This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining positive associate relations.
