Job summary

ASPM - All Service Plastic Molding is seeking a Quality Inspector in Vandalia, OH to visually inspect parts according to OQI, PPH and containment instructions. You will verify label accuracy and seal boxes for shipment, while scanning and moving product as needed with a pallet jack.

This role requires attention to detail and clear communication of standards and deviations. You will record findings on a tablet, alert the team to defects, and ensure only conforming parts are shipped.

• Inspect parts for quality and conformance to OQI and containment instructions.
• Communicate standards and deviations within the department and with customers.
• Make determination of parts deemed acceptable to ship.
• Record findings on a tablet and alert the team to defects; reject nonconforming product.
• Move product using a pallet jack; stand, bend, and lift as required.

Job description

Position Summary

Visually inspect parts based on OQI, PPH and containment instructions. This includes match to good part samples, label correctness. The quality containment inspector will be responsible to seal all boxes as required that he / she inspects. Scanning and moving product from locations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• The quality inspector will be the initial person responsible for the quality of parts being inspected.
• Communication of standards and deviations of those standards within the department as well as customer driven standards.
• Make determination of parts deemed acceptable to ship.
• Inspects, Records findings, using tablet to alert team of defects, rejecting unactable product.
• May require using equipment for measuring.
• The use of a pallet jack to move product.
• Standing, Bending, and lifting.
