Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a reliable 2nd Machine/Parallel Operator to support the Coiling Department. The role involves operating various production machines, assisting with setup, inspecting parts for quality, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Shift is Monday-Friday, 2:15pm to 10:30pm, with pay at $19.00 per hour. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, use micrometers/calipers/height gauges, and operate forklifts as needed while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, specification sheets, and drawings.
• Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machines within the production cell.
• Assist with machine pre-setup and post-setup tasks.
• Inspect parts for quality using measuring instruments.
• Coordinate heat treatment of springs in ovens according to work orders.
• Respond to work orders and maintain production pace.
• Make minor machine adjustments and notify leads when more are needed.
• Maintain clean and organized machines and work areas.
• Operate forklifts and other powered equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with other operators and departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
