Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a dedicated 2nd grade Teacher for Rockland School for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will help students learn key subject matter and contribute to their overall development.

Job description

Libertyville School District 70 is seeking a 2nd grade Teacher for Rockland School for the 2026-2027 school year. Benefits include: 2 Personal and 12 Sick days; $2,200 Tuition Reimbursement; Life, Medical and Dental Insurance; annual $550 457 Contribution; and $400 Workshop/Conference Allotment. The salary is based on the placement on the Salary Schedule. D70 pays 1:1 for the first 8 years, 1:2 for the next 8 years, with a maximum placement on Step 13.
