Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and show evidence of preparation.
• Plan instructional strategies and present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Assess student learning and use results to plan instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Work with staff to determine instructional goals and methods; supervise aides/volunteers.
• Communicate with parents and maintain professional relationships.
