Old Sawmill Golf Club, a brand new private club near Charleston, SC, is seeking a 2nd Assistant Superintendent. The role involves managing agronomic programs, chem/fert application, and leading projects with a focus on exceptional conditions for members and guests.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem solving, multi-tasking, and a passion for coaching and developing staff, contributing to a dynamic workplace culture.

Qualifications

• At least a Turfgrass/Golf Course Management Certificate.
• Strong critical thinking/problem solving attributes.
• Desire to lead and develop staff and maintain a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Application of pesticides and fertilizers.
• Inventory control of all products used in programs.
• Management of irrigation system and its application.
• Lead projects including irrigation installs and course construction.
• Overseeding involvement.
• Plan and manage workload.
• Aid in training and building talent among staff.
