Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. in Missouri is seeking a dynamic 2nd Assistant Manager to help run the store, train and lead the sales team, and deliver outstanding customer service while learning people management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
• Willing to teach others how to sell and learn how to be a people manager.
• Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and perform store duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through the shopping experience.
• Sell shoes, apparel and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales, handle cash and card transactions.
• Help restock the sales floor and keep areas neat.
• Lead and train team members when the manager on duty is present.
• Lead the rest of the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Make deposits at the bank.

The 2nd Assistant Manager is an entry level part-time management role that will not only sell our shoes to customers but also manage and lead the sales team when you are the manager on duty. What you will do:

• Greet our customers and guide them through their shopping experience.

• Ring up sales in computer, take cash/run credit cards.
• Help re-stock the sales floor.
• Keep things neat and clean in the store.
• Teach others how to do all the things above.
• Lead the rest of the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.
