Job summary

Victaulic Company in Alburtis, PA is seeking reliable production workers to perform manual tasks inside and outside the facility, including cleaning, lifting, and material handling. The role requires willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift and adapt to an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform continuous physical labor.
• Willing to work in an industrial/foundry environment.
• Willing to work weekends and extended hours on a continuous basis.
• Experience in an industrial/foundry environment preferred.
• Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous physical labor by cleaning, sweeping, lifting, carrying, moving, painting, and shoveling inside and outside of the facility.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and vehicles to move, remove, haul, store and transfer materials.
• Fill in for other employees during breaks, tardiness, and absenteeism.
• Perform duties in a safe manner by following all established safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Report immediately to supervision any injury, unsafe act or condition, or any failure or impending failure of plant equipment, tools or other job related equipment.
• Perform duties to assure uninterrupted operation of the facility and a clean, safe workplace.
• Actively participate in SRP, QWG, VPDS, and other initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Housekeeping: maintain a clean and safe work area and related equipment, remove waste, store equipment/tools, and clean any other area as directed.
