Job summary

Victaulic, headquartered in Easton, PA, is hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift Operator/Assembler/Fork Truck Driver at our Commerce Park facility. You will operate, monitor and tend assembly machines, assemble parts, load/unload materials, and assist in painting tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining quality, using forklifts, and performing occasional packaging for shipment. Must lift 5–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and be available for overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 5–50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work 40 hours weekly, with overtime as required.
• Experience with pallet jacks and automated equipment is helpful.

THE ROLE

We’re hiring Assemblers/Operators/Fork Truck Drivers at our Commerce Park facility. You’ll be responsible for assembling and disassembling products manually or using automated equipment, loading and unloading products onto an overhead conveyor line, loading and unloading parts into fitting racks, and manual application of powder paint from time to time as part of our Operations/Manufacturing team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operating, monitoring, and tending to assembly machines, including clearing faults on automated machines.

Assembling and disassembling parts using hand/power tools

Following standard operating procedures to maintain consistent product quality

Operate, monitor and inspect tools, dip tanks, paint lines, impregnators, and other related equipment to produce a finished product, to assist or accomplish the set-up and material handling as necessary, to perform minor troubleshooting, to provide efficient productivity; to perform necessary cleaning, to remove garbage and waste materials from the work area as required, to perform any related duties as determined by Supervision.

Operate PIV’s (powered industrial vehicles; forklifts and/or walk behind forklift).

Pack, inspect, prepare for shipment/transfer all products and/or material as necessary.

WHAT YOU NEED

Must be able to lift weights ranging from 5 to 50 pounds, with a typical lifting range of 5 to 40 pounds The employee will be required to reach with hands and arms and stand for extended periods of time Must be able to be stationary for at least 75% of the shift Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisors Normal weekly schedule is 40 hours, Monday – Friday 8 hours per day Employees must be willing to work daily and weekend overtime as business conditions require. Overtime will be paid for all hours worked in excess of forty hours in any one week

COMPENSATION

The hourly pay rate for this position is $21.81 per hour. This role may also be eligible for shift differentials, overtime pay, and the full benefits package described above.
