Job summary

Machine Operator at Kellanova's Wyoming, MI plant is part of our Operations team and supports processing and packaging. Your technical skills ensure equipment is set up correctly, runs smoothly, and produces quality products. Safety is a core priority, and you will help maintain our strong safety culture.

You must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift (2:15pm–10:30pm or 10:15pm–6:30am) with required overtime and weekend work. The role offers pay of $22.93 per hour with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to GMP.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing Safety & Quality First - Follow company safety rules and good manufacturing practices.
• Operating Equipment Efficiently - Work with computer-controlled equipment or mechanically-based machines and take ownership of your equipment and processes.
• Managing Machine Performance - Ensure your equipment is running smoothly by performing quality checks, autonomous maintenance, and preparing materials needed to run our products.
• Working as a Team - Establish strong partnerships with the quality & food safety, maintenance, logistics, continuous improvement teams.
