Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to provide outstanding customer service while ensuring shelves are stocked and merchandised properly.

You will stock groceries, move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and cooperate with leadership to complete duties on time, including overnight shifts; a team-focused, safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly.

Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
