Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a non CDL driver to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Shakopee, MN area, collecting and delivering medical waste containers with a strong focus on customer service.

You will adhere to DOT regulations, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain a safe, timely delivery schedule. The role includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus and full-time hours with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a 26 ft box truck and delivering medical waste containers.

• Possess a valid DOT medical card and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Operate 26 ft box trucks and load/unload per schedule.
• Complete deliveries on time and communicate changes or challenges.
• Follow route plan, ensure timely, efficient, and safe service.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and logging hours.

Medical Waste/Sharps Class B Driver $3k Sign-On Bonus! 6554

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused NON CDL driver who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Shakopee, MN area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

This position is offering a $3k sign-on bonus for new hires. $1k paid after 30 days of employment and $2k paid after 90 days of employment!

• Safelycollecting, delivering and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks)
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading | Prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs
• Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting!!!
• Delivery experience within a26 foot box truck
• Driving within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Clean driving record
• Valid DOT medical card
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
• Proven longevity in past employment
