Job summary

AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistician to provide Waterfront Logistics support for the NSWC PHD - N Department in Everett, WA. The role involves coordinating with TYCOM, item managers, and project engineers to maintain readiness and timely material delivery.

Occasional travel to Seattle may be required. The candidate should have extensive logistics experience, be able to work independently, and maintain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and 7 – 10 years of Logistics experience or no degree and 9 – 12 years of experience.
• Able to work independently, perform and complete tasks with little to no guidance, and supervise the work of others.
• Able to communicate expectations and follow-up to make sure deadlines are met.
• Able to function as a key member of the CNO availability team, single point of contact for all Combat Systems integrated logistics support material.
• Able to continually track and expedite parts/shipments and coordinate with TYCOM and Item Managers to avoid work stoppages and ensure the timely delivery of critical material.
• Able to identify and resolve logistics discrepancies and track and source all high priority requisitions.
• Able to apply CM/logistics processes for documentation updates/revisions and change control management.
• Able to provide ILS deliverables, conduct LOGSAT's and oversee material for (OBRP's, MAM's, Tech manuals, &Test equipment) for the entire Combat System and ensure ships Combat Systems Readiness levels are at the highest level
• Ensure ship readiness for deployment
• Track reconfigurations, baselines and data management.
• Able to utilize Navy logistics CM applications such as CDMD-OA and OTS.
• Able to interface with Project Engineers, Log Reps, Engineers, Technicians, and Logisticians.
• Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
• Have a valid driver’s license with own transportation.
• Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.
• Able to follow company policies and procedures.
• Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide Waterfront Logistics support services for the Modernization Logistics Branch and ensure readiness in Everett, WA.
• Track and expedite parts/shipments; coordinate with TYCOM and Item Managers to avoid work stoppages and ensure timely delivery of material.
• Interface with Project Engineers, Log Reps, Engineers, Technicians, and Logisticians.
• Provide ILS deliverables and oversee materials for OBRPs, MAMs, tech manuals, and test equipment for the Combat System.
• Maintain ship readiness and deployment readiness; ensure readiness after ALO and through deployment prep.
• Track configurations, baselines, and data management.
• Utilize CDMD-OA and One Touch Support for logistics tasks.
• Travel to Seattle as needed for tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare clear, detailed English-language reports.

Role and Responsibilities

Full Time Senior Logistician position supporting the NSWC PHD - N Department, providing Waterfront Logistics support services for the Modernization Logistics Branch with a duty location between in Everett, Washington. Tasking may involve periodic travel to Seattle.
