Arlington Central School District is seeking Anticipated Part-time Teaching Assistant positions at Beekman Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The posting includes a Part-time Special Education Teaching Assistant (Special Class with Health Stipend) with a starting salary of $23,377.

Starting pay is approximately $18.05 per hour, with 27.5 to 35 hours per week; positions of 25 hours or more are salaried September through June.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Teaching Assistant Certification preferred but required prior to January 2027.

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for Anticipated Part-time Teaching Assistant positions at our Beekman Elementary School as indicated below for the 2026-2027 school year.

• (1) 35 hr/wk Part-time Special Education Teaching Assistant (Special Class with Health Stipend)
  • Starting Salary $23,377

The District offers:

• Paid sick and personal days as well as health insurance coverage for positions that are 20 hrs/wk or more
• Some paid holidays for those positions of 20 hrs/wk or more.
• Access to Educator’s EAP
• Optional enrollment in 403B and/or NYS Teacher Retirement System (Pension)
• Tuition reimbursement program (up to $1,000)

Starting salary is approximately $18.05/hr. However, positions of 25 hours or more are salaried September through June.

Anticipated positions will range in hours approximately 27.5 hours per week up to 35 hours per week.
