KIPP New Jersey is seeking a Teacher in Residence (TiR) to gain hands-on experience while pursuing teaching certification. You will work alongside an experienced lead teacher, develop lesson plans, teach, reflect, and use data to inform instruction.

As a TiR, you will fuse theory and practice as you work alongside experienced teachers in the classroom while earning your teaching certification.

KIPP NJ offers competitive salaries to newly hired lead teachers. Salaries are based on prior experience and in accordance with certification requirements. KIPP NJ offers a competitive salary of $48,000 for teacher in residence positions in Newark.
