Job summary

Dysart Unified School District is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to support daily school operations. The role includes supervising students in the cafeteria and on the playground, assisting on campus, and delivering friendly front-desk service to staff, students, and visitors.

The incumbent will maintain confidentiality, build rapport with stakeholders, and assist with on-campus tasks as needed. This position is non-exempt and part-time with our standard 185-day calendar.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or working with the public preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in cafeteria and on playground.
• Assist on the school campus as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.

SUMMARY

To contribute to the efficient operation of a school site so that it can effectively contribute to the educational process of the school.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervise students while in cafeteria and on playground.


• Assist as needed on the school campus.


• Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.


• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.


• Providing front office support and answering telephone.


• Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.


• Assigned to on-campus reassignment room (OCR).


• Other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

Experience

• Experience in working with school age children preferred.

Licensing

• Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)

Working Conditions
