JOB SUMMARY:To assist in grounds maintenance for the school district.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory of tools
• Some knowledge of landscaping.
• Executing of site plans.
• Maintaining school site/district grounds.
• Knowledge of pruning, trimming, weed eating, etc.
• Operating and maintaining equipment.
• Execute and design a maintenance program according to the seasonal requirements.
• Will perform duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Experience in general grounds maintenance.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routing reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of people.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals.
