Job summary

Dysart Unified School District is seeking an organized Data Entry/Office Support Specialist to support the Student Information System and school office operations.

You will ensure accurate data entry, generate reports, maintain files, respond to inquiries, and coordinate student registration and enrollment, withdrawals.

Strong Excel skills, customer service experience, and familiarity with SIS like Infinite Campus are preferred; Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Customer service and data entry experience preferred.
  • Experience with Infinite Campus or other school databases.

Responsibilities

  • Act as SIS data steward for high-quality data management.
  • Coordinate student registration and enrollment.
  • Coordinate student withdrawals.
  • Assist parents and students with accounts and tools.
  • Maintain student cumulative files and annual archiving.
  • Provide data and summary reporting to administrators.
  • Coordinate grade reporting and master scheduling.
  • Analyze state and federal reports and correct data.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders.
  • Maintain rapport with students, staff, community and vendors.

SUMMARY

Support the flow of information by ensuring information is entered into the school-related systems and databases accurately and timely; generate reports and compile information relating to the school office; records management and filing; responding to phone calls and requests; performing data entry and database coordination for reports, queries, and input.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Act as the Student Information System (SIS) data steward responsible for high-quality data management.
  • Coordinate student registration and enrollment.
  • Coordinate student withdrawals.
  • Assist parents and students in setting up accounts and utilizing district communication tools.
  • Maintain student cumulative files and complete annual archiving procedures.
  • Provide student data and summary reporting to a variety of administrator inquiries in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Coordinate and perform advanced student information procedures such as grade reporting and master scheduling.
  • Analyze state and federal reports and correct data as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
  • Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
Education
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience
  • Customer service and data entry experience.
  • School office experience preferred.
  • Experience with Student Information System (Infinite Campus) or other school related databases.
Licensing
  • Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
Computer Skills
  • Demonstrated competency in computer literacy and Excel.
