SPLENDORA Independent School District is seeking a Special Education Inclusion Paraprofessional to assist the classroom teacher in preparing and managing activities and administrative tasks, under supervision of a certified teacher.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with Texas aide certification obtainable after hire; experience with children preferred. The position runs 10 months (181 days) with a starting pay grade of 201 at $13.50 per hour.

Lifting: Frequent lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); Occasional heavy lifting (45 pounds or over), positioning of students with physical disabilities, controlling behavior through physical restraint, assisting nonambulatory students, and lifting and moving adaptive and other classroom equipment
Environment: Work inside and outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather); exposure to noise; exposure to biological hazards (bacteria, communicable diseases)
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
