Home Work Staffing is seeking an experienced live-in nanny and family assistant in Norwalk, CT for a 9-week-old infant. Applicants will cover six 24-hour shifts monthly, with remaining hours devoted to light household management.

Baby daycare runs 8:00 AM–1:00 PM; applicant handles drop-off/pick-up in their own vehicle. The role offers a private live-in suite, meals/groceries, and a structured schedule announced ~3 months in advance.

• Professional experience caring for young infants, ideally newborns.
• Knowledge of newborn development, feeding, soothing and safe sleep practices.
• COVID-19, Tdap and flu vaccinations.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Minimum one-year commitment.
• Flexible and adaptable to a changing work schedule.
• Reliable, organized, proactive and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and warm, professional demeanor.
• Three–five professional references.

Responsabilidades

• Provide attentive, loving and developmentally appropriate care for a 9-week-old baby.
• Manage feedings, diaper changes, naps, soothing and daily infant routines.
• Monitor baby’s comfort, safety and developmental milestones.
• Follow safe sleep practices and keep nursery and feeding area clean.
• Provide overnight and extended care during scheduled 24-hour shifts.
• Drive the baby to and from daycare in your own vehicle.
• Communicate regularly with the parent about the baby’s schedule and needs.
• Assist with grocery shopping and light household errands.
• Do family laundry and keep common areas tidy and organized.
• Prepare simple meals and help with light cooking.

Location: Norwalk, CT
Compensation: $30–$35/hour
Schedule: Full-time live-in. Includes about six 24-hour shifts per month (approx. 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM the next day). The remaining hours go to light household management and family support. The schedule is set about three months in advance.
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

We are looking for an experienced, nurturing and dependable live-in nanny and family assistant to care for a 9-week-old infant in a private Norwalk household. The role covers six 24-hour shifts per month. During the remaining scheduled hours, the nanny will help with light household management to keep the home organized and running smoothly. The baby attends daycare from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the nanny will handle drop-off and pick-up, a short 9-minute drive.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nanny with newborn experience who is comfortable with extended shifts and enjoys pairing infant care with light household support. The nanny will have a private first-floor suite with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and full bathroom. They are welcome to any food and groceries in the home.
